The old saying always states you can't judge a book by it's cover. She calls her book of life fiery, red hot! After hearing her story I thought, WOW, I never would have imagined! Fiery, red hot may not be what you're thinking either. Well, as I began to write this blog God spoke to me immediately saying Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. My thoughts were, oh the 3 Hebrew boys that Jesus saved from the fiery furnace. Cholyn, like the 3 hebrew boys was saved from the fiery furnace. Because of her life's experiences, being in that furnace refined her, made her stronger, gave her Faith like never before. When it seemed like she was alone, Jesus was there the entire time. How does this relate to being Fancy.

In her own words

What are three words that describe to you the best?

Fiery, Red-Hot & Confident! (Wait! Is that 4 words??? LOL!)

Name one goal you would like to accomplish in the next 12 months and why.

To learn how to TRULY give "it" over to God! To learn how not to stress over what I cannot control.

Describe what makes you Fancy.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 - "...because time and unforseen occurrence befall them all..."
I lost my husband to death, suddenly, almost 8 years ago. He was 28 years old and I was 27. I lost my best friend, husband, lover, confidant, and the father of my babies. I was left alone to raise a fatherless boy into a man and a fatherless girl into a woman. How was I to do this? I quickly realized I didn't have to raise them alone. I had Jehovah God, the GREATEST father of them all, there to help me. Jehovah most definitely helped me through that difficult and painful time in my life. He provided me with family and friends who gave their ALL to be there for me and my babies. He also gave me the BEST children in the world! They didn't allow me to dwell in my lonliness for long. They kept (AND STILL KEEP) me busy. The "man" I raised is now in college, working and taking more responsibility for his own wants and needs. My BEAUTIFUL daughter is now a middle schooler. She is slowly coming out of her shell. She reminds me of ME!! (So you know I have my hands full.)  Seven months ago, I was blessed with another baby boy! He most definitely keeps me busy and has me wrapped around his little finger.

Through this I have learned to embrace me, to embrace my situation, to love me, to be content. I, with Jehovah's help, ENDURED what I thought was impossible. So, what makes me fancy is my will to endure, my will to succeed!

Who inspires you to succeed and why?

My children inspire me to succeed. I refuse to let them see me fail! Failure is NOT an option for me, them or anyone else!
