I chose to be a rebel.
Life isn't always a pretty picture. Even in the prettiest of pictures, there is a back story; the pull back we don't see. Our stories are bigger than what we see. Who is that woman inside of her? Perhaps there is a message that speaks through her, to her, to you, and to me? The eyes are the window to the soul.
I started Photo-Therapy to give other women a voice; a voice of reason, acceptance, and understanding. For so long we’ve been speaking yet not heard. So this time “look into my eyes and hear what I'm not saying, for my eyes speak louder than my voice ever will.”
Here’s my story in one sentence:
I chose to be a rebel, because following the American dream didn’t make me happy and being perfect didn't protect me from being hurt.
