"The one who was't going to amount to anything."

PhotoTherapy-Rashawn.jpg

“I was stereotyped as the one who wasn’t going to amount to anything. I’m the lesbian outcast with an horrible attitude. Today, I’m the first in my family with a college degree. Married to a woman and living my best life. I have an career job and I take great care of my kids. It’s not about where you come from but where your going.

See, I have been raped, abused, mistreated and so much more.

I was made the black sheep of the family. I started a mentor program to help black teens just like myself. It wasn’t easy running away at 15 from California and raising yourself in Kentucky! I got a story to tell and I sure don’t look like what I have been through. If I can rise up so can you!”
